Counter pick up line

Should it be called drop line?

HE: Can I buy you a drink?
SHE : Actually I'd rather have the money.

HE : I'm a photographer. I've been looking for a face like yours.
SHE: I'm a plastic surgeon. I've been looking for a face like yours.

HE: Hi. Didn't we go on a date once? Or was it twice?
SHE: Must've been once. I never make the same mistake twice.

HE: How did you get to be so beautiful?
SHE : I must've been given your share.

HE: Will you go out with me this Saturday?
SHE : Sorry. I'm having a headache this weekend.

HE: Your face must turn a few heads.
SHE : And your face must turn a few stomachs.

HE: Go on ,don't be shy. Ask me out.
SHE: Okay, get out.

HE: I think I could make you very happy.
SHE : Why? Are you leaving?

HE : What would you say if I asked you to marry me?
SHE: Nothing. I can't talk and laugh at the same time.

HE: Can I have your name?
SHE : Why? Don't you already have one?

HE: Shall we go see a movie?
SHE : I've already seen it.

HE: Where have you been all my life?
SHE : Hiding from you.

HE: Haven't I seen you some place before?
SHE: Yes. That's why I don't go there anymore.

HE: Is this seat empty?
SHE : Yes, and this one will be if you sit down.

HE: So, what do you do for a living?
SHE : I'm a female impersonator.

HE: Hey baby, what's your sign?
SHE : Do not enter.

HE: Your body is like a temple.
SHE: Sorry, there are no services today.

HE: If I could see you naked, I'd die happy.
SHE : If I saw you naked, I'd probably die laughing.

Multiple personalities (disorder?).

Hiya there,

And so my first semester results are out today.
It wasn't bad, I guess, but I am somehow not satisfied.
I guess I am more kiasu than I care to admit then. hahahah.
I shall be thankful that my scholarship is safe... lalalaa.

and so, rather than contemplating about un-alterable results,
I'd look for something more fun and less productive to do (cos my holiday is sooo busy)
I stumbled upon this buddytv.com, which gives out tv personality test.
normally, I'd stay away from this, but I got nothing better to do today, so why not?

I completely understand if u want to press Alt + F4 right now
(fyi, I really pressed that two stupid buttons the first time I wrote this, haiz)

So, here are the results from those shows that I watched.

From Veronica Mars, Twilight, Star Wars, X Men, Prison Break, Lord Of The Rings, High School Musical, Heroes and F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Funny, I've never really liked Wallace Fennel, I thought he is too darn naive to be main character's sidekick. At least I thought Alice was cute in the movie, and I don't really mind getting her precog ability..

One of the Jedis, not bad, though I prefer Anakin. Luke seems much more outdated (maybe because they filmed it in the 80s then). Next, here is my favorite form of elemental ability! then again, it is as useless as walking refridgerator...

I always thought T-Bag's manipulative ability was one to emulate, but I don't mind getting second opinion on ruthless and cunning part. I'm sure I don't have Southern accent, too. uh oh, Legolas? there may be a glitch or so in the website, but I wanted to learn archery for a short period of time after LOTR.

And here I thought I'll get a Ryan. Troy has a darn high voice and (supposedly) good at basketball, nothing close to me, but I won't complain. Hirooo! though I really hate him in season 2, he's not badd, especially during Charlie period, and I like the description there :D

I love the phrase in the first sentence after the comma :D hahah kidding. but hey, he's the only guy who hooked up with all the GG main chars (except the mother, of course), and somehow I liked his tortured style better than lonely boy's. As for Rachel Greene, this may be the explanation of why I don't mind going around shopping (right jebay?). LOL.

So sorry to put on this much crap, but it's fun in a way
You can try out for yourself on buddytv.com

Conclusion: I watch TOO much TV Shows.....

until next time.

Reciprocity of liking.

Hi there,

it's been like 4 weeks after my last post.
it's not that i have nothing to write, the mood just isn't there.
i remember post-a level time when i was updating this blog like everyday.

So yeah, I'm stuck here until 6 dec, thanks to choir camp,
which, after looking at the schedule, looks more like glorified practice week.
With occasional games and meals, i guess. I shall not complain.
It's just that I don't feel as energetic. let's just see.

Meanwhile, for those people that are already back,
Happy holidays :)
though I have no idea what I am gonna do for the hols.
Let's just meet up and do sth, despite all traffic and "convenience" in Jakarta.

Oh, I accidentally found out something interesting recently.
not to say totally unexpected, but it still came as pleasant surprise.
if it is true, superb! one of seldom cases of my empathic happiness :)

and as always. it's after exam period.
reminds me of this theory:
rate of couples getting together is considerably more before/during exam period, and
rate of those breaking up is significantly more after the results are released.

I have no idea how true is that, but somehow I feel these lovey-dovey stuff happen around/after exam period. for example, like now, maybe i can guess of a few example, too bad this is a public blog :D hahah.

one more thing,
I'm having my room for myself for a week starting tomorrow.
how good is having single room in sg? lol.

My head is just full of scenarios and what-and-whys now.
p.s: try clicking the link at the end.

incarcerated by hope

i stumbled upon this website, Tiny Mix Tapes which I found very interesting. In the website, there is something called Automatic Mix Tapes Generator. You can write down anything, a phrase, quotation, question, etc under Mix Tape Request and the Generator will create a tracklisting of a mix tape out of it.

There is one of the mix tapes created that really captured me:

19. Antony & the Johnsons - "Just One Star" (Hope There’s Someone EP)

how awesome.

Long time ago, making a mixtape was hard work. You must have those big tape deck with 2 cassette players, rewind/fast forward to find the song you want, and record the songs one by one. To give your girlfriend a mixtape back then was something. With computers, now it's just drag-and-drop. The art is lost by means of technological advancement. However, the feeling is still around. Every single mixtape is special because you cannot find that in stores and unlike everything else in the world, it is not mass produced in China. A mixtape is personal, and your mixtape is you.

Currently I'm too busy to make a mixtape for myself, but once this is all over and I have the time, the mixtape will be titled "Songs you listen to when you lie down on your bed, only with a pile of good books and all the time in the world"

song of the day: Nina Simone - Ain't Got No... I've Got Life
