juno and kasino

i just got the original soundtrack of Juno. Listening to it made me regret watching Juno with 2 guys. Should have watched it with a girl. Dammit.

Especially when i listened to Anyone Else But You, the song that Ellen Page and Michael Cera sing and play the guitar together in the last scene of the movie. One of the sweetest moments I have seen on screen.

Another one would be when Clive Owen tears open Paul Giamatti with a huge handgun in Shoot 'Em Up and says "What I hate the most is a pussy with a gun in his hand". Sweet.
(Come on, don't give me that look. I'm a guy, okay? And Shoot 'Em Up has a great soundtrack also.)

Anyway,
if you are looking for a cd to give to your significant other, Juno OST is my recommendation. Better if before you two have watched the movie together on couple seat (in cinema) or on your couch, leaning against each other (in DVD).

Even if you are just an insignificant otter, it's still a good album to have. It has a strong artsy-teenage-indie taste though, so you hiphop/mainstream pop/emo rock-listening simpletons, you have been warned.

Now i feel like watching Juno one more time ,or some other smart movies like Juno. I have been watching Warkop DKI on Youtube for the last few days, and I feel intellectually deprived. You cannot keep your IQ from declining if you spend hours watching shows full of beach views complete with girls in swimsuit, the queens of bimbos, and ultimate three ugly stooges with worst slapstick jokes you would ever see on screen.

cewe cakep: nama saya siska
kasino: wah bagus ya namanya. nanti kalo kita menikah, anak kita bisa dikasih nama siskasino

oh my god.

But somehow I enjoy it nonetheless. I am fully aware that Warkop shows are horrendous, and the jokes are not funny, but I laugh. Maybe I'm just laughing at myself for watching these crap, but I do laugh my ass off at some scenes. And I think that's all that matters.
