Reciprocity of liking.

Hi there,

it's been like 4 weeks after my last post.
it's not that i have nothing to write, the mood just isn't there.
i remember post-a level time when i was updating this blog like everyday.

So yeah, I'm stuck here until 6 dec, thanks to choir camp,
which, after looking at the schedule, looks more like glorified practice week.
With occasional games and meals, i guess. I shall not complain.
It's just that I don't feel as energetic. let's just see.

Meanwhile, for those people that are already back,

though I have no idea what I am gonna do for the hols.
Let's just meet up and do sth, despite all traffic and "convenience" in Jakarta.

Oh, I accidentally found out something interesting recently.
not to say totally unexpected, but it still came as pleasant surprise.
if it is true, superb! one of seldom cases of my empathic happiness :)

and as always. it's after exam period.
reminds me of this theory:

rate of couples getting together is considerably more before/during exam period, and
rate of those breaking up is significantly more after the results are released.

I have no idea how true is that, but somehow I feel these lovey-dovey stuff happen around/after exam period. for example, like now, maybe i can guess of a few example, too bad this is a public blog :D hahah.

one more thing,
I'm having my room for myself for a week starting tomorrow.
how good is having single room in sg? lol.

My head is just full of scenarios and what-and-whys now.

Gravity.

Ever heard of Gravity?

no, not that Earth thing,
it is defined as "Force of attaction between two bodies"
so can any couple say they have gravity between them?

maybe gravity can be an excuse for person who come up with this line:

"hey, I'm attracted to you, I can't help it",

and was met with rejection.

even more interesting is its characteristic,
"Gravity is inversely related to the square of the distance between two bodies"
is that why long-distance relationships seldom work? :D

however there is one part that bothers me,
"Gravity is proportional to the masses of two bodies"
or is it, in fact, the ultimate truth? ahahah.

Symphony of wind.

I'm struck by this post-working syndrome.
But since I have no routine work, I'll just call it post-ICN syndrome.

Ever feel that way?
At one time you are wishing for more than 24 hours a day and more than 7 days in a week.
because simply you got too much thing to do, and so little time.
But when that period is over, you just simply have too much time, and so little things to do.
but hey, it may not be true, that is just how you feel.. at least I did.

and that happened last week,
no mood for neither lecture nor tutorials. I shouldn't have bothered coming. hahah.

that was last week,
at least I'm getting them back now, I think.

Okay, guess what I did on Saturday?
indochoir outing, and its agenda? phototaking at Esplanade area.
by far weirdest outing I ever had.

Imagine yourself (or you and your companion, whatever) peacefully spending time in Esplanade rooftop talking, or attending a wedding in Fullerton, or even in a green line MRT ride. Then suddenly, 13 people, all dressed in fancy and different colours come right under your nose starts to take out their cameras (yes, with s behind) and posing, jumping, smiling and laughing endlessly in front of you.

and that lasted from 4pm until about 1030pm, amazing.

yay time to update!

been busy with ICN (Indonesian Cultural Night) last week.

poor me, I messaged 30 people for tickets and none replied yes! lol.

well in the end it was a full house, so I won't complain..

And soo, I joined IndoChoir for this event...

Good stuff first, we rocked! "Burung Kakaktua" was suddenly majestic.

I really thought we just perform for fun based on our messed-up rehearsals. lol.

guess all those time spent dancing was worth it eh? really paid off :D

and to spill the beans, IndoChoir is sooo much of a narcist!
from 15.49 until 22.43 that day, they took 237 photos! (but only 199 was good)
good thing I brought my red camera then, sooo much fun.

speaking of comments, I had over +1000 email from facebook in my yahoo mail.
just 8 hours after I uploaded the photos! tags, comments, everything.
and unfortunately, those comments are either junks or gossips! LOL.

that was how I spent my saturday after MAS110 and MAS112 quizzes,
replying comments after comments or chatting the whole day, soo productive...
must find a way to escape from gossips! argh.

I went Oldham Hall on sunday, cos I got nothing to do.
trying to help those people study, but in the end I think I distracted them rite?

One Mooncake too many.

Have to admit that NTU MAF at Yunnan Garden was somewhat romantic.

Candles and Lantern everywhere, a lot of trees, bridges, and lakes.

and those girlfriends were making their own personal lantern for her other half, to twitt!

well, unfortunately, I was there with bunch of guys. lol.

at least I got to make (and eat) my own mooncakes for free!

That was last friday.

On Sunday, came to Oldham Hall to mug my HE101 and HE102

and decided to crash their Mid-Autumn celebrations!

so again, free mooncakes, and this time is actually expensive ones.

What a shiny day (read: I just woke up).

Hey, I'm not that much of a pig, I had to actually get up very early in the morning to cook.
People in my hall take turns to prepare morning meals, once every three days.
For the fun of it, I took picture of them :D



Today's menu :
A questionable oyster sauce veggies, salty corned beef with rendang sauce, and of course, unconvincing omelette with sausages and crabstick.
Served with steamed rice and orange cordial.

Hahah, it tastes much better than it looks.
Maybe I should cook for blind people.

One thing I don't like about fasting, is that I can't barely play any sports during the day,
and I do tend to overeat after break.
which explains why I often put on weight during these months.

Let this be my schedule:

30 minutes of Interval training, 4x a week

I have MAS111 : Foundations of Maths test tomorrow, argh.

off to HE101 lecture, I shall not fall asleep.

First time I really skipped entire lecture today.
reason? 4 hours of sleep is not enough, I prefer my bed than lecture hall, definitely.

Why is it that sometimes we can remember what we dreamt about, vividly?
Last night was a weird one. Includes me being in a relationship.
Let's just say this one makes me think about someone the whole day.
Not a pleasant feeling, now I'm actually missing her, as a friend, of course.

It was fun, but I should really settle my CCA schedule first, prioritize!

Butterfly on a Wheel

Hi there.

As promised, I shall stop abandoning this blog and start updating.
uh, oh, and this time, I actually have some photos.

And so, I just finished my Indon Orientation on Sunday....

Day 1

This would be OG introduction, in which we had to prepare a performance. I didn't quite like my OG name (krakendut) nor the orange shirt, but what the heck right? It's get together day... So for the OG Intro, started with a cliche "We Will Rock You" parody, continued with modified version of "Apa Kata Dunia", and ended with a cheer. People said it was well done, but I felt sucky. Maybe the audience are just tired, hope so. Aniwae, it was off to a decent start...

Day 2

Night games. It's just a couple of orientation games. oh, something funny happened in fright night section. When I was looking for a clue intensely, one of the ghost actually scared me. My reflex : one quick blow to the back of the head... (sorry cobi). there's a video here, my scene should be around 3:00 to 4:00. surprisingly for night games, it ended quite early, around 11pm, and there was a lot of waiting around.... and soo, picture time! hahah.

Day 3

uh oh, for a note, I actually went for supper after day 2, and just came back to my room at around 2 or 3am. And this day started with a 3 hour long seminar in Indonesian Embassy, but never mind, it was a good bonding since we talked chickens during the whole thing. It was a outdoor amazing race kind of thing around clarke quay, not bad. Aniwae, I took of to Oldham Hall Sports Carnival in the afternoon (it was fun! right, dhea?). Nevertheless, I managed to take some pictures...

Day 4.

Not much to tell. It was a sports game (read : outdoor with flour and water) in the afternoon and performances in the evening. Good thing, the OG won best performances. Bad thing, I had to play some gay senior (haiz, kalo image gue rusak beberapa taun bakal gara2 ini, lol). And the whole thing ended at around 1, which was why I miss staying out at Jul's. next time!

I had no idea why I pose in such a way....

It's 1.30am now and I have to sleep!

I'm feeling emo today, since this afternoon.

talking about birthdays, I just found out that my Zodiac sign is actually Aries.
yeah, the common Zodiac signs are simplified to only 12 Zodiac
whereas, astronomically, there is the 13th Zodiac, Ophiucus (Serpentarius)

and the dates under each signs are of course, simplified.
The number of days under each signs are actually different,
if we are to look at the movement of the Sun, astronomically.

Like Scorpio only have 7 days, November 23 - November 29
Serpentarius would lie under November 30 - December 18
And which brings me to the topic, Aries, is under April 19 - May 14.

And thus I began to search for charactericstics of Aries,
just because I have the time, yeah?

hahaha. Ngantuk siah, smaleman nonton bola yang bnerny g ksel gra2 ManU menang lagi, padahal Roma ad bberapa decent chances. Utg bgt si aton ga nonton, ga nonton aja jadinya bangun jam 9 lewat y ton yah? hahahaa.

Oh, dan smaleman lucunya kita (baca: gue aton jul) dengan isenknya ngerjain PI bwt PW gt deh. Karena ngerjainnya bertiga, slesai lmyn cpet, ide badai otak jg lumayan. Sadar sesuatu, PW itu bnernya not so bad kalo kita kerja ama orang2 yang uda kita kenal dan lancar diskusinya. Jadi bnernya PW group itu ngaruh skali yahh...

Ini bagian keluh-kesah, karena supir tiba2 berhenti tanpa alesan yang jelas, jadinya g yg jadi supir :( bangun pagi2, balik tidur lagi, ntar sore jemput lagi... Haiz, bukan gimana ato apaa, cm g benci macet, apalagi kalo lupa bawa memory card buat psg lagu.
